The FARC Act was recently amended. Major changes lie in section 6, where the following Transitional provisions are catered for:
(1) All rights, obligations and liabilities subsisting in favour of, or against, the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs shall, at the commencement of this Act, continue to exist under the same terms and conditions in favour of, or against, the Council.
(2) All proceedings, judicial or otherwise, commenced before and pending at the commencement of this Act, by or against the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs, shall be deemed to have been commenced and may be continued by or against the Council.
In essence, above also imply that the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs Act is repealed. You can read the amendments by clicking here or by clicking on the image above.
