  1. Thanks Nawsheen:) Mauritius was the first to sign the Convention on Biological Diversity (1992). This should be a major reason for us to be aware about what has been done till then and what can be done now. We are all directly concerned about the biodiversity of our island. It is important that we learn to live in harmony with our fragile ecosystem. To ensure our well being and the survival of a wonderful flora and fauna which is unique to our island..

There is a high probability that those or the respective authority who signed the convention have forgotten this auspicious date or the pledge behind the convention.. Else, how will u explain the forests and other nature / ecological systems being destroyed!!
