Call for Papers: EFITA/WCCA July 11th and July 14th, 2011 Prague, Czech Republic

The European Federation for Information Technology in Agriculture, Food and the Environment conference and the World Congress on Computers in Agriculture will be held between July 11th and July 14th, 2011 in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. The system will be opened for paper submission from 15th September 2010 until 7th January 2011.

Researchers are encouraged to submit their papers electronically via the web site as a MS Word file and to structure them as a standard scientific article. All papers will be fully refereed by a minimum of two specialized referees. Before final acceptance, all referees' comments will be considered. Accepted papers will be published in the 8th EFITA/WCCA proceedings and will be presented orally at the conference.

The papers introduce original scientific works, integrating both qualitative and quantitative research and will be published in English.

Accepted papers will be published by the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague in the conference proceedings and will be forwarded to Thomson Reuters for evaluation and eventual registration in the Web of Science database.

The editor reserves the right to return manuscripts that do not conform to the instructions for manuscript preparation and artwork instruction, as well as papers that do not fit the scope of the conference, prior to refereeing. The editor will only accept manuscripts submitted electronically. The receipt of manuscripts will be acknowledged. Please ensure that you are sending us the final and complete manuscript and that it is written in clear and concise English. We recommend that authors have the final version of their manuscript English language checked before submitting it to the conference. Authors are solely responsible for the factual accuracy of their papers. Contributions are received with the understanding that they comprise original, unpublished material and are not being submitted for publication elsewhere.

Papers accepted for publication will be peer-reviewed by leading experts in the field to ensure academic rigor and integrity, thus revisions to the script may be required. When a manuscript is returned for revision prior to final acceptance, the author must submit the revised version by the deadline after having received the referee's reports. Authors will receive proofs for approval before publication.

Detailed publication guidelines are available in the Guidelines for authors.
