The MauriGAP is the Mauritian Standard for Good Agricultural Practices. The sensitisation campaign was launched on 06th October 2016 by Hon. M Seeruttun, Minister of Agro Industry and Food Security.
The MauriGAP will cover 3 levels, the 3rd one being comparable to international norms. An appeal has been made to all stakeholders to collaborate in order to make Mauritius move in the right direction - that is produce food of quality and safe - and along same line push further towards natural farming.
